Warwick (Junction 15, M40)
- Workshop, Sales, Parts -
Just like people, vehicles come in all shapes, sizes and conditions... some age well, run smoothly and go on to become true classics, others require more specialised TLC to bring out their many quirky qualities!
...and we are firm believers that the classic volkswagen falls into both of these categories!
Whether you're a complete beginner and have just purchased or are considering purchasing a vw camper or beetle or you are an experienced enthusiast we're equipped to help as little or as much as you need.
If you're planning a few repairs, a complete restoration or building from scratch Outermotive can help you in a number of ways.
* Assist on an ad hoc or planned regular basis
* Repair rust, replace individual panels, or completely restore your bodyshell
* Offer mechanical servicing and engine rebuilding
* Offer comprehensive paint/colour services
* Seek and find specialised or rare parts (UK and world-wide)
* Design, engineer and build specialised parts
We pride ourselves on completing restorations to a high standard and are all too aware that the pennies can make the difference between what you'd like to do and what you can actually achieve at any one point. We aim to work to your budget and your needs, however this can be more expensive in the long run so we help to advise you on cost effectiveness. For example, we can work on your Volkswagen in stages, or complete a full bare-metal restoration of the bodyshell and overhaul mechanical components.
We use specialist processes to strip, prepare and paint our restoration projects so they will last as long as possible in our changeable (!) British climate. Contact us if you would like to discuss these processes in further detail as each project is obviously as individual as you are!
vehicle requirements we are only able to accept a few 'full' restorations per year.
As well as VW experience we also have historic car experience and therefore an interest in any classic car. We also have experience in teaching and training, so you'll find us 'user friendly'. Your vehicle is our passion!
